Poll: Norwalk Fans Ready For Start Of New NFL Season FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. -- Fairfield County football fans -- are you ready for a new season? The National Football League season kicks off Sunday and Monday for the hometown teams from the New York area. The Jets host the Oakland Raiders on Sunday at 1 p.m. at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey. Harvest Table To Aid Stamford's New Covenant House Planned For November DARIEN, Conn. -- The fourth annual Harvest Table to benefit the New Covenant House of Hospitality in Stamford will be held on Sunday, Nov. 2, at The Country Club of Darien.
