Irvington Middle School Students Learn Lifesaving Skills IRVINGTON, N.Y. -- Irvington Middle School students recently knelt on the floor during their health classes to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation, or CPR, to their “patients” who, in this case, were mannequins.The lifesaving lesson was part of the eighth-grade wellness unit in health teacher Luann Ricciardi’s classes that trained students on how to respond to a cardiac arrest emergency. Brewster's Seven Star Dancers Showcase Routines To Launch Season BREWSTER, N.Y. -- Brewster-based Seven Star School of Performing Arts held its 2016 Showcase at Brewster High School on Saturday. The showcase consisted of 10 hours worth of dances and 170 routines. These routines included solos, duets, trios and group numbers.
