A Virginia State Police trooper was hospitalized after being struck in a chain reaction crash on I-495 caused by a two DUI drivers, authorities said. The trooper was dispatched to a sedan in a northbound lane around 3 a.m. to help a sedan that had stopped near Exit 52 in Fairfax County, a spokesperson for the VSP said. Officer Hospitalized With Medical Episode While Arresting Wanted Person, Police Say
An Allentown police officer was hospitalized after suffering a medical episode while trying to arrest a wanted person, officials said. Police said only that the officer suffered some sort of medical episode while attempting to apprehend the suspect around 12:45 p.m. Monday, June 10 on the 600 block of N. 9th Street. Emergency aid was rendered on scene and the officer was taken to an area hospital for treatment. The officer is expected to survive. No further details were released.

Support is on the rise for a Trenton mother who lost three of her four children in a five-year span. Cocaine, Firearms Seized In Search Of Suspected Drug Dealer's Virginia Home, Police Say
A search of Loudoun County man's home turned up a substantial amount of cash, cocaine, scales, firearms, and more, local police said. Nicholas T. Roach, 28, was stopped around 12:30 p.m. Saturday, June 8 on Plaza Street NE by officers on foot as he appeared to be under the influence, police in Leesburg said. Roach was arrested for public intoxication and, after conducting a search incident to arrest, officers found a large amount of cash and drugs on him, authorities said. Man Wanted For Sodomizing Teen In Prince William, Police Say
A 58-year-old man is wanted for sexually assaulting a victim under 15 years old in Prince William County, police said. Arturo Gomez Toribio, of Nokesville, sexually assaulted the victim sometime between May 1 and June 5, according to county police. A Loudoun County man who raped two children he was supposed to have been caring for over the course of two years will likely be spending the rest of his life behind bars. : Man Follows, Exposes Himself To Shopper In Tysons TJ Maxx, Police Say
Police in Fairfax County are seeking the man who exposed himself to a victim at a store in Tysons. The man, pictured above, followed the shopper at a TJ Maxx store on the 8300 block of Leesburg Pike and exposed himself around 2 p.m. on May 25, county police said. The suspect then fled the store before police arrival. Officers were able to view security footage which showed the suspect following the victim and exposing himself. A 23-year-old man was arrested for ramming an officer with his car in Arlington over the weekend, police said. Officers were called to the 800 block of N. Wakefield Street around 5 a.m. on Saturday, June 8, for a vehicle blasting music, where they found Taron Butler in a car matching the description, police said in a release.
