NY Trio Who Used Zip Ties To Restrain 4 Victims In Teaneck Home Invasion Charged: Prosecutor
Three New York men have been charged in a January Teaneck home invasion, authorities announced. Frank A Salcedo, 43; Francisco Sandoval, 42; and Brian Arias, 40; are facing a litany of charges including armed robbery, kidnapping, weapons possession and related offenses in the Friday, Jan. 12 incident on East Tryon Avenue, Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella said. A 62-year-old Somerset County man has been arrested on child porn charges, authorities said. George Wohar, Jr., of North Plainfield, became the center of an investigation following a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC), Somerset County Prosecutor John P. Police Seek Man Who Performed Lewd Act In Hawthorne Family Dollar
Authorities in Hawthorne are hoping the public can help them identify a man accused of performing a lewd act in a local Family Dollar. The man pictured above was captured on camera walking around the store performing a lewd act in front of several employees at the Wagaraw Road store on Monday, July 1, Hawthorne Police Chief James Knepper said. The man is wanted for questioning and anyone who knows him is urged to call Hawthorne Police at (973) 427-1800.

Teen Struck By Boat Propeller Airlifted After Saved By Off-Duty Officer On Greenwood Lake
An off-duty police officer came to the aid of an 18-year-old man who was struck by a boat propeller on Greenwood Lake last month. Vernon Cpl. Steve Rovetto was on the lake in West Milford when he saw that the man had been struck around 6 p.m. June 20, and called 9-1-1, West Milford Police Capt. Parrello said. Rovetto went over to the victim, improvised a tourniquet out of rope, and then accompanied him by boat to the South Shore Marina. At the marina, they were met by West Milford Sgt.
