Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

12-Year-Old Airlifted After Crash Near Long Island Intersection A boy was seriously injured after being struck by a minivan near a Long Island intersection. The crash happened on Monday, May 30 at 11:45 a.m. in Levittown. A 33-year-old woman was operating a 2022 Toyota Siena westbound on Bucket Lane when she struck a 12-year-old boy who was riding a bicycle near the intersection of Grassy Lane, Nassau County Police say. Woman Killed In Fiery I-87 Crash Involving Drunk Driver, State Police Say A woman was killed in a fiery two-vehicle crash involving a drunk driver on a stretch of I-87, New York State Police said. It happened at around 9:55 p.m. Saturday, May 28 on the northbound side in Albany County in the town of Colonie. A preliminary investigation determined that a 23-year-old New Jersey resident was operating a 2021 Tesla Model Y northbound on I-87 at a high rate of speed when he collided with the rear of a northbound 2018 Honda Civic, according to police. 17-Year-Old Charged After East Rockaway Road Rage Incident, Police Say A teenager is facing charges after a road-rage incident on Long Island. It happened around 6:45 p.m. Saturday, May 28 in East Rockaway near Forest Avenue and Centre Avenue.
