Owner of Stratford's Lovely Cakes Takes On TV's 'Cake Wars' STRATFORD, Conn. -- Norwalk resident Renata Papadopoulos, owner of Stratford-based business Lovely Cakes, will be competing for a $10,000 prize on the Feb. 8 episode of the Food Network's "Cake Wars" airing at 9 p.m.Papadopoulos, a married mother of three, will appear at the Station House Bar and Grille at 232 East Ave. in Norwalk for a public viewing of the premiere broadcast of the competition and will serve tastings of the prize-entry secret cake flavor. Greenwich Opens Registration For Co-Ed T-Ball GREENWICH, Conn. -- The Department of Parks and Recreation announced online registration for Co-Ed T-Ball has begun.Any Greenwich resident may sign up online and select activity registration. Mail-in registration will begin Monday, Feb. 8. In-person registration begins Monday, Feb. 22. There are two separate T-Ball programs for children who are 4 and 5 years of age.
