Norwalk Sets Presidents Day Garbage, Recycling Pickup Schedule
NORWALK, Conn. -- Garbage and recycling collection will follow the normal schedule in Norwalk on Monday, Feb. 15, which is Presidents Day.The Norwalk Transfer Station, located at 61 Crescent St., will be open Monday. The Yard Debris Site, located at 15 S. Smith Street, will be closed on Monday, but will be open during regular business hours on Wednesday, Feb. 17, weather permitting.

Harrison High Footlight Players Attend State Theater Workshops
HARRISON, N.Y. -- Members of the Harrison High School Footlight Players attended the student conference of New York State Theatre Education Association last month.The 15 HHS students who attended worked with licensed teachers from around New York state on a host of theater topics, including, audition techniques, working on camera, working with wigs and makeup, advanced choreography, stage management, costumes, dancing, technical, self-confidence, as well as vocal and acting techniques.
