Homeless Man Found Sleeping At Ridgewood High School Athletic Field: Police A 54-year-old homeless man was found sleeping at Ridgewood High School Tuesday morning, Jan. 21, police said. The man was found near the footbridge of the high school field just before 7 a.m. by a concerned citizen who called police, Ridgewood Ridgewood Police Capt. Glenn Ender said. Students typically begin arriving at school around 8 a.m. At 8:30 a.m., the temperature in Ridgewood was 11 °F. The man was transported to The Valley Hospital.

'Jerseylicious' Star Lorenzo Gangala Dies Months After Surviving Motorcycle Crash Lorenzo Rocco Gangala, a Montclair resident who appeared on the former reality show "Jerseylicious" died on Thursday, Jan. 16 at Mountainside Medical Center surrounded by family, according to his obituary on the Par-Troy Funeral Home website. He was 38 years old. In August 2024, Lorenzo survived a serious motorcycle accident in East Orange, an experience he called life-changing. 15-Year-Old Girl Killed In Double Jersey City Shooting: Prosecutor A 15-year-old girl was killed and her 37-year-old female relative was wounded in a Jersey City shooting late Saturday, Jan. 18, authorities said. Cianna Lee and the other victim were found with gunshot wounds in a car on Oak Street near Martin Luther King Drive and Union Street around 11 p.m., Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez said. New Paltz Driver On Revoked License Charged With Fleeing Fatal Crash Scene: Cops A 34-year-old unlicensed driver has been arrested in connection with a crash that left a 37-year-old woman dead along an Ulster County roadway last week, authorities said. Alex B. Brown, 34, of New Paltz, was behind the wheel of a 2008 Subaru Forester when he ran over Victoria Cooper in Rosendale on Jan. 16 around 8:20 p.m., New York State Police said. Video Shows Arrest Of DUI Teaneck Driver Who Plowed Dodge Ram Through Hackensack McDonald's Newly released bodycam footage shows the arrest of an intoxicated driver who sent his brand-new pickup truck into the side of a Hackensack McDonald's on Tuesday, Dec. 31.
