Pedestrian Struck, Killed By Vehicle In Parsippany, Prosecutor Says
A pedestrian was fatally struck by a vehicle on Route 46 in Parsippany on the evening of Thursday, June 6, authorities said. At 9:50 p.m., the pedestrian was struck near 1429 Route 46 by a 2015 Dodge Journey traveling eastbound, the Morris County Prosecutor's Office said. The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene, authorities said. The driver remained on scene, authorities said. The man who died has not been publicly identified. The crash remains under investigation, authorities said.

The woman killed in a two-car crash in Parsippany earlier this week has been identified as a Dover resident. Diana Lopez Jimenez, 36, died in the two-car crash at West Hanover Avenue and Gov. Thousands of residents in northern New Jersey were without power as of Tuesday, Feb. 13 amid the snow storm that dropped several inches on the region. The JCP&L outage map shows 2,390 had no power in Warren County, mainly in Harmony Twp., Lopatcong, Phillipsburg, Pohatcong, and White Township as of 11:35 a.m. In Somerset County, nearly 900 residents had no power, mostly in Branchburg (790). A 44-year-old man was killed in a motorcycle crash on Route 280 in Parsippany overnight on Friday, Oct. 27, state police confirmed. Jason M.
